 Life of Steve Jobs

Steve Jobs was an American entrepreneur, inventor, and co-founder of Apple Inc. Born on February 24, 1955, in San Francisco, California, Jobs was adopted by Paul and Clara Jobs. He grew up in Mountain View, California, and showed an early interest in electronics.

After attending Homestead High School, Jobs enrolled at Reed College in Oregon but dropped out after just one semester. In 1974, he returned to California and began attending meetings of the Homebrew Computer Club, where he met Steve Wozniak. Together, they founded Apple Inc. in 1976 with the goal of creating affordable personal computers for the general public.

Their first product, the Apple I, was followed by the more successful Apple II, which became a best-seller and made Jobs and Wozniak millionaires. In 1984, Apple released the Macintosh computer, which was the first personal computer to feature a graphical user interface. This innovation made personal computers more accessible and easier to use for non-technical users.

However, Jobs had a falling out with Apple's board of directors in 1985, and he left the company to start his own computer company, NeXT Inc. NeXT produced high-end computers aimed at the education and business markets, but they were not successful.

In 1997, Apple was struggling, and Jobs returned to the company as CEO. He immediately began streamlining the company's product line and refocusing on core products. Under Jobs' leadership, Apple released a series of successful products, including the iMac, iPod, iPhone, and iPad.
